Wedding Photography Cost in Multan: 2026 Pricing Guide

By Iqbal Photography ·

Nobody publishes wedding photography prices in Multan, which makes comparing quotes almost impossible. This article explains what actually drives the cost, which line items are worth paying for, and where a cheap quote quietly becomes an expensive one.

Why Nobody Publishes a Fixed Price

A one-function shoot for eighty guests and a four-function wedding for six hundred are completely different jobs. Putting a single number on a website would be misleading for both. What we can do is explain the variables, so that when you receive a quote you understand what you are looking at.

The Five Things That Set the Price

1. Number of functions

This is the largest factor by far. Each function is a separate shift for the team, with its own travel, setup and editing load. Covering all four functions of a Multan wedding costs roughly three to four times what covering barat alone costs.

2. Team size

One photographer, two photographers, a videographer, a drone operator, an assistant handling lighting — each person added is another day rate. A large wedding genuinely needs the extra bodies, but a small home function does not, and you should not be sold a crew you will not use.

3. Video

Video roughly doubles the cost of a wedding booking, and it is the single line item couples most often cut. It is worth understanding why it costs what it does: a cinematic wedding film takes far longer to edit than the photographs, often 30 to 40 hours for a ten-minute film.

4. Album and prints

A hand-designed, lay-flat printed album is a physical product with real material cost, plus design time and revision rounds. Digital-only packages are cheaper for exactly this reason. Our wedding albums page explains the options.

5. Travel

Inside Multan there is usually no travel charge. For Khanewal, Lodhran, Vehari, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur or DG Khan, expect travel and sometimes accommodation to be added, particularly if the function ends after midnight.

The Hidden Costs in a Cheap Quote

A quote that looks dramatically lower than everyone else's is usually lower for a reason. These are the things that get left out:

  • Edited vs delivered — some quotes cover shooting but charge separately for editing, and unedited wedding photos are close to useless
  • Hour limits — "full coverage" that actually stops after six hours, with overtime billed per hour
  • Second photographer as an extra — quoted as included, then added to the final invoice
  • Album pages — a 20-page album included, with extra pages charged individually
  • Drone — frequently listed in the brochure but not in the package
  • Rush delivery — a surcharge if you need photos before the standard timeline

Ask for one number that includes everything you expect to receive. If the answer involves several "depends", keep asking until it does not.

Where Spending More Is Genuinely Worth It

Not every upgrade is worth the money. These three usually are:

  • A second photographer — the difference between having the groom's entry and the bride's reaction to it, or only one of them
  • A female photographer for the bridal room — an entire chapter of the day that otherwise does not get photographed at all
  • A printed album — the thing your family will actually look at, unlike a folder on a drive

Where You Can Reasonably Save

  • Cover two functions professionally rather than four thinly — better photos of half the wedding beats mediocre photos of all of it
  • Skip the drone if your venue is an indoor hall, where it adds little
  • Order parent albums at the same time as your own; the design work is already done and duplicates are far cheaper later
  • Book off-season if your date is flexible

How to Compare Two Quotes Fairly

Put them side by side and check five things: functions covered, hours per function, number of people attending, number of edited images delivered, and delivery date. Once those match, the numbers become comparable. Until they do, you are not comparing the same thing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Multan?

It depends mainly on how many functions you need covered, how many photographers attend, and whether video is included. A single function with one photographer sits at the affordable end; four functions with a full team and video is several times that.

Is wedding video worth the extra cost?

It roughly doubles the budget, so it depends on what matters to you. Video captures voices, speeches and movement that photographs cannot. If the budget is tight, most couples prioritise photography and add a short highlight film rather than full coverage.

What hidden charges should I watch for?

Overtime beyond a stated hour limit, editing charged separately from shooting, extra album pages, a second photographer billed as an add-on, and rush delivery fees. Ask for one all-inclusive figure.

Do you charge extra to travel outside Multan?

Yes, travel is added for weddings in Khanewal, Lodhran, Vehari, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur and DG Khan, and accommodation may apply if the function runs past midnight. It is quoted upfront, never added afterwards.
